Tonight at Crowbar: Gil Mantera’s Party Dream

Synth pop duo-turned-trio Gil Mantera’s Party Dream (drummer A.E. Paterra joined last tour) wrote and performed new music throughout ’08, and this January released Dreamscape, the follow-up to their ’06 debut. (For more on that and to see the first video, click here.) I’ve only heard a few tracks, but so far, Dreamscape seems pretty dancetastic. Hometown fun old-timey-meets-nu-jazz rock quartet Poetry n’ Lotion provides support.
