Sunday was a case in point. Luckily Czar (for Matt & Kim) and Orpheum (for The Ting Tings) are close — certainly easier than running between Crowbar and New World Brewery. Accordingly, I managed (barely) to catch both headliners, although due to both shows being super early, I managed to miss all the opening acts. Oops. Check out the Ting Tings concert review here.
Matt & Kim were simply splendid as always, in spite of Matt’s pulled muscle. Rumor has it the errant muscle was pulled during what can only be described as an over-zealous nap. Hmm. Power napping takes on a new champion!
Since Matt & Kim inspire dance parties everywhere they go, Czar, as the Tampa indie-rock dance party headquarters, provided an ideal setting.

Great photos! I had the same issue last weekend. There were literally a dozen good things to do on Saturday and I ended up only covering bits and pieces of each.
