Video premiere: Crystal Method’s “Drown in the Now”
April 21st, 2009 by Leilani Polk in NewsCrystal Method’s quality of electronica has been hit-or-miss at best since their 1997 debut, Vegas. “Drown in the Now,” the new single from the electro duo’s forthcoming album, Divided by Night (due out May 12), features Matisyahu doing his trademark spooky chanting and rapping. I have a hard time liking the dude, but the video is pretty cool, I guess. I’m a sucker for animation, especially when it looks good. P.S. I apologize for the advertisement.

Why is this relevant? Are they coming to town?

Thanks for the catch, Chad.
And it’s relevant, Tim, because Crystal Method is an electro band of some renown, if questionable talent. And they come here regularly. Their most recent tour stops in O-town May 15, if that makes you feel any better.
FYI, we report on national music news, too, not just everything pertaining to here. Sorry if you hadn’t already caught on.
