A moment of inspiration

March 6th, 2008 by Amanda Schurr in Arts, Film, News

Okay, folks, it’s been a relatively busy 24 hours at The 941, and on the heels of the recent “levity” post/comments - coupled with our food critic Brian Ries’ recent blog call for hamburger haikus - I’m inspired.

Now is the time to unite - to spread warm fuzzies and goodwill for Patrick Swayze to swiftly conquer pancreatic cancer.

I can’t offer a fancy, big-ticket burger like Brian promises the winner of his contest. All I can promise is a bit of love out there in the cyber-universe. Awww.

Time to get your get-well haiku wishes on. Here’s my lame, 5/7/5 syllable entry:

the time of our lives
and we owe it all to you
roadhouse kick the sick
