May 7th, 2008 by Jonathan Maziarz in Current Affairs, Editor's Desk, News, Politics •In the “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” category, this report details how the U.S. military is scanning the globe to find terrorist groups to recruit as allies in the global war on terrorism. Isn’t this how the Taliban got its start?
• The government continues its denials, but former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter is the latest to say that a U.S. attack on Iran is imminent.

holy shit. i must say, i’ve been completely speechless since i heard last night. i got an email from scott yesteerday asking me if i would be into doing a ‘turning wheel’ reunion show. i’m sorry my brother. wouldn’t be the same without you there. he was my/ i was his evil twin. i suppose it depended on who was wearing the goatee at the time. i will miss your slak-jawed, knuckle-draggin, mouth-breathing, bottom-feeding, joyous, talented, poetic presence as long as i live.
