- One of our ad reps just got back from the AmeriFuel gas station at U.S. 301 and Fruitville Road, where she said they cut her off at $65. She was all like, I’m not cut off, you’re cut off! Where’s my shoes?
Seriously, though, AmeriFuel. Come on. That’s AmeriFrugal!
- Also, a blurb from a South Florida Sun-Sentinel story on the tomato scare.
“The Sarasota County Health Department is investigating a confirmed case of salmonella, but a spokeswoman could not say whether the incident was linked to tomato consumption.”
- Item! Fifty-three percent of inmates in the Sarasota County jail are there on a pre-trial basis, meaning they have not been convicted of any crime.
