Vern Buchanan’s tax woes mount

This time, Vern has failed to pay more than $550,000 in federal employment taxes.
The IRS has filed a lien, something that usually only happens after it has made repeated and persistent efforts to collect the debt. So, this is not an oversight. This is bogus.
Personally, I’m delighted that the IRS is spending time trying to hunt down the big time tax cheaters out there, especially when they are members of Congress.
