George Carlin died Sunday. Fuck.
He was an unflinching observer of the human condition, a wry linguist and a powerful storyteller. “Don’t confuse my point of view with cynicism,” he once said. “The real cynics are the ones who tell you that everything’s gonna be all right.”

Thanks for this post. I’m a Christian and a life-long Carlin fan as well, and I did my own little tribute to the man, from a similar-but-different perspective. Thought you might be interested.
