— Longboat Key Club & Resort members file an appeal with the LBK government, wanting the right to review changes to the Club before the town gets a crack at ‘em.

— The story that’s on every local website this morning: A Lakewood Ranch citizen decries her foul-smelling Chinese drywall. Authorities “have yet to determine whether the chemicals being emitted are hazardous.” Quality!

— Manatee County Assistant Public Defender Franklin Roberts wants to keep the media away from a few of his cases.

Truth in a sub-hed: “More than you ever wanted to know about my bowel operation.”
