Well, Suncoast, you were fiending for some Creative Loafing on the airwaves and over your Internet, and we are delivering. Like I mentioned yesterday, we have kicked off a new partnership with WSRQ, 1220 AM, creating a new weekly half-hour radio show and podcast. Yesterday was our inaugural voyage, and things went well: We chatted about this week’s issue, asked Brian what he thought about Watchmen (in theaters now), discussed the elected mayor referendum, even teased next week’s big cover story, the 2009 Tournament of Tacos.
So listen up, and let us know what you think. We’ll be back in the studio next Wednesday, and our regular air-time will be each Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Or, you can just keep comin’ on back here.
And remember, we’re still hoping an enterprising local musician steps up and enters our Half-Hour Variety Hour theme song challenge! We need tuneage!
(By the way: We realize the James Brown intro runs a little long… but bear with us, please.)
