Here’s how it works: Tell us why you deserve free tickets for a night with your favorite cowboy, baby, Kid Rock, in the comments section below, then email us your contact information. We’ll announce our winner Thurs., June 25!
June 25th is my birthday. Last year I had the worst birthday ever cuz my mom’s doc informed me on that day that we’d need to move her to hospice very soon because she was on her way out. Def put a dark cloud over my b-day evening, even though friends tried to take my mind off reality for a few hours.
Mom passed on 6/27/08.
Would be nice to receive some good news on my b-day this year, like that I’d won tix to a great show on the 27th! If this occurs, I’d get to experience a kick-ass fun evening this year to make up for the pain and sadness I had to deal with same time, last year.
I would give the tickets to my sister and brother in-law so they might have a night off and out. They need a break and are big fans of both the bands. I would watch my niece and nephew for them.

Kid Rock??? Isn’t he the ‘Baw With The Baw’ Guy??? I don’t deserve to be let out of my house, let alone deserve free tickets to see the ‘Kid’. But if Creative Loafing is footing the bill for tickets, limo, booze, ect… then I want them. PLEASE GIVE THEM TO ME!!!!
Im 35 years old and the only reason I deserve these tickets is because I feel really old right about now. Me and Kid Rocks music go way back.It makes me feel like a teenager agian if only for one night. And it doesnt hurt that I happen to have a babysitter for that night.Im the soccor mom dropping the kids off at school with windows down with Cowboy jamming really loud. My kids love it.
Many years ago I heard a Kid Rock song that brought tears to my eyes. I never knew the title but it was something I never forgot. Recently, I found myself on youtube searching for it again. By the time I found “Lonely Road of Faith”, I was hooked. Kid Rock sang some amazing songs with such passion that I have not heard in years. If his songs were this good on youtube, they have to be even better live. But since I cannot afford the tickets of my choice, I searched online and found this site to win free tickets.

I should get to go see Kid Rock and Lynard Skynard because…
I’m a huge fan of Creative Loafing and use it to plan my week accordingly. My parents played Lynard Skynard for me as a child, and I grew up listening to the band. “Freebird” was my high school graduation song (of course, whose wasn’t!?), and I can remember the moment shared with my family.
Kid Rock may not have sentimental value, but he’s a kick ass dude who was my first white trash crush.
I should have the chance to meet LynYrD SKynYrd because that is the shit I rock out to all the damn time Lynyrd skynyrd fucken rocks dude. Love the music and Love what it’s all about!
