Here’s how it works: Tell us why you deserve free tickets for a night with your favorite glam-rockers, Aerosmith, and your favorite long-haired cowboys, ZZ Top, in the comments section below, then email us your contact information. We’ll announce our winner on Thurs., July 9!
I deserve free tickets, because I am a nurse who works my ass off, a big fan of both, haven,t seen them in concert and finally got all my kids out of the house and deserve to PARTY!!!!!!
Aerosmith was the first concert I went to go see, I was 12 and with my mom. I would really love to be able to go now that I am older and actaully have a great time! And I have never seen ZZ Top and love them. It will be a fantastic show and I have to go.
the reason why i deserve winning the ticket it because im 19, and im totally living in the 70’s and 80’s. everything that i love, went down in those time periods. the music, the people, the friendliness. another reason is i cannot stand the music that is out today.. im purely old school.
that is why i think i deserve that ticket. beause music is ,my life… plain and simple.
Why do I deserve to win free tickets? Because I love Aerosmith, I can’t afford to go and I’ll be recovering from surgery. What better way to celebrate the removal of a potentially cancerous organ/tumor?
I really mean it when I say I love Aerosmith, too. My 15 year old son’s name is Tyler, named after you know who! I even traveled to Boston to visit the now defunct “Aerosmith Bar” called Mama Kin. However, I have yet to see them play live! Come to think of it, I’ve never seen ZZ Top live either, and I’m an 80’s kid! What’s wrong with this picture?
I’ve been trying to see Aerosmith for decades – no luck. Finally, I lucked out and had a chance for front row seats to Aerosmith when they performed in El Paso TX in 2004, but had to go for a heart cath in Albuquerque instead – I needed 7 bypasses but ended up with 5. I could have died if I went to see them and now I think I might die if I miss another chance. Does owning all of their cd’s and listening to them every day qualify me as a big fan? And ZZ Top, I realize that they are Texans but, holy **** they are fantastic and I’am also a big fan of them. Wow!! A double fan, life or death situations, driving all the way from Deming, NM, multiple album/cd ownership, a daily listener, 61 years of age (grey hair, sagging skin, and the last thing over the fence are my balls . . .) could be my last chance – well, that makes me a pretty good candidate to be selected, huh! Wadaya think?
I deserve free tickets because I want to give these tickets to a guy who really needs a great show that only Aerosmith can give him right now. It would lift his spirits after his the loss of his brother to cancer last month, plus he battles with Stage 3 Lyme disease which leaves him in constant pain without any cure.He needs some good old rock n roll!
I cannot afford to give him tickets, really wish I could – this would be a gift that would really surprise him!
He is a former Bay area musician and singer and loves Aerosmith, hope he gets to see them while he’s still able.
Thanks!
Jennifer
May i please have the free tickets? I came on the internet to read a concert review of Kid Rock and found a really bad review you gave the guy tickets and he didnt even go to the show. I do better then that ill fly there from New Jersey and give you the best dam review you have ever read. Also I am goin to see Kid Rock in concert tonight here in New Jersey I will give you an awesome review about that show free of charge since i had to pay for my own tickets it will be 2 review in one.
Thanks in advance

I deserve to win these tickets because I love both Aerosmith and ZZ Top.I grew up listening to both groups.I would be coming from Texas. What a great quicky vaca-Tampa and Aerosmith!!
i deserve to have free tickets because i’ve actually met steve tyler and stood next to him at a party. in beantown. his high heels were wayyyyy higher than mine.
I would love to win the tickets to see Aerosmith and ZZ Top this Saturday in Tampa because it will be an absolutely awesome concert!! I started listening to Aerosmith back in the early 70’s when they came out with “Get Your Wings” and “Toys in the Attic”. I would rock n’roll in my ‘68 Camaro that I had for 20 years, listening to this exceptional band! They made it through, and so did I, the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, with a lot more great music that I love and loved. Then came “Just Push Play”. I enjoyed that one even more than the others, which is a hard thing to do, and I think I wore the CD out, if that is possible! The song that always gives me goosebumps is “Don’t Want to Miss A Thing”. What a song!! I would love to hear Steven sing that live! I know I would cry. I have never seen them live and after all these years of loving their tremendous music on the radio, tapes, CD’s, at Disney World on their roller coaster,in film, and in my daughter’s Guitar Hero, I would really, really, love to hear and see them live!
ZZ Top is an awesome band who I listen to, and did so back in the day, having been a Woodstock era woman. Just recently I enjoyed a group in Orlando called ZZ Not, a tribute band of them. I get such a kick out of watching their antics and their twirling guitars. I belong to the Blues Meetup groups in Orlando and go to jams almost every weekend, and ZZ Top plays some awesome blues tunes. To be able to keep the beat with this group would be an unbelievable live jam, even though I would only be able to dance in my seat, or in my aisle. That would be so wonderful, that after all these years of being around their tunes, that I would be able to be given the chance to see them do their thing! Their “Chrome, Smoke & BBQ” brought me back to years gone by and then added some new, great tunes to it, which had/has me rockin’ out to it, as has and does all of their music. To have the opportunity to see both of these great, fantastic, awesome bands would be a dream come true!! Please pick me, please! Thank you so much for this opportunity!! Thanks! Mmmwwwaaaa (Throwing you a kiss).
I want to win because every girl’s crazy(Janie’s got a gun) about a sharp dressed man(with a 3 mile smile) with a pair of cheap sunglasses(she’s a sight for sore eye’s) looking for some tush(love in an elevator).
I DESERVE THE TICKETS BECAUSE I WILL BE GIVING THEM TO MOTHER (WHO LIVES IN NY) AND SHE HAS AND WILL ALWAYS BE A DIE HARD AREOSMITH FAN. SHE HAS MET THEM BEFORE AND TRAVELS ACROSS THE STATES TO SEE THEM, AS A TRUE FAN.
