Behind the scenes with Matisyahu
The Scenestress landed the Twitter score of a lifetime when she hooked up with an opportunity to see Matisyahu perform a couple songs for a radio spot on WMNF 88.5 FM in Tampa. She knew he was playing at Jannus Landing that night so she stopped by his Twitter page and noticed that he was offering some fans a chance to come to the station and watch his performance. She must have been the only one who saw the post, because when she replied Matis himself wrote back and told her to come on up to the station. The tall, bearded Hasidic reggae star waved her into the studio with a big grin and the band played two songs from their new album, Light. After the show Matisyahu signed some copies of his new single and chatted for a bit. Just one more example of what Twitter can do for you!
