BEST PROOF THAT THE SUNCOAST IS NOT BEHIND WHEN IT COMES TO NATIONAL TRENDS
mashupBradenton’s combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell

Combination chain restaurants swept the nation this year, and the new trend even generated a fist-pumping dance-pop anthem by Das Racist: “Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell (Wallpaper Remix).” But we really lost our shit when, after bopping along to the tune for weeks in the office, we spotted an actual combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell on Cortez Road in Bradenton. For once, the Suncoast was not years behind on a nationwide trend! And while ordinary diners probably stayed away in droves, we couldn’t help our morbid curiosity. How did the chef master both Mexican and Italian cuisine? Does the same kitchen crank out both styles of food? Can you get Lava Sauce on a pizza pie?

I saw my first Taco Bell/Pizza Hut combo at least 6 years ago in the Dallas Texas area. So we are not as far behind the trend….maybe compared to other things 8)

The Human species loves combining EVERYTHING into one location and/or device. The comment of “convenience” or “makes life easier” is just an excuse. It is just another sign of being a lazybones.:)

You have a wonderful reviewer named Lael Hazan. She speaks of how food nutritionally affects us and how cooking affects nutrition. She is quite discerning.
