Hot Dog Day at the Sarasota Olive Oil Company
Every Wednesday, about 11 a.m., Sarasota Olive Oil owner Kelly Kary unveils the dog ‘o the day. Maybe it’s sauerkraut and swiss. Maybe it’s mango and habanero peppers. Doesn’t matter. Even if that day’s dog doesn’t ring your bell, you can still grab one plain, with mustard, or doused in diced onions and chili, for just a couple of bucks. That’s enough to make us happy to be at work on the worst day of the week. 500 Central Ave., Sarasota, 366-2008
