— City Attorney Robert Fournier blasts the Sarasota Police Department
for pushing back on a couple of cases, and ends his screed with this: “It’s about jerking people around, something the Police Department appears to be very good at. I can also tell you that these two cases are not isolated incidents. This is an ongoing department with this department and it’s a big one.” The Herald-Tribune has reaction, and the original memo in PDF form.
