Key Chorale presents Bach to Bach – Sun., Nov. 22
“Bach to Bach” is a mixture of the music of the great Johann Sebastian Bach and the irreverent compositions in his honor by his “long lost relative” P.D.Q. Bach. This is truly a stimulating mixture of the sacred and the profane, a chance to enjoy the traditional Baroque masterpieces of J.S. and also to laugh at the expert parodies by P.D.Q. (Peter Schickele in real life), performed by the forces of Key Chorale, soloists and orchestra under the direction of Joseph Caulkins.
