When did we say we considered dropping Savage Love? It's our plan to keep it, but we wanted to let you readers know the situation and gather your support. For the record, it's extremely tough to keep a column like Savage Love alive in a conservative city like Charlotte. This ain't Seattle my friends. But we are committed to doing just that and we appreciate your input.

What does it say about Creative Loafing that a few complaints lead it to consider dropping a great writer? Hmmm????

I am a native Detroiter and have read Savage Love in Detroit's Metro Times for years. I was very happy to see it in Creative Loafing and the column is one of the main reasons I visit the website. That being said, if it wasn't in CL, I would just go back to the Detroit paper and your website hits and readership would go down.
