If you haven’t experienced one of the blow-the-roof-off Purgatory parties held by Single Cell Productions, then what’s the delay? The critics’ choice for Best Place to People-Watch in Creative Loafing’s 2007 edition of Best of Charlotte, this regularly held BDSM (bondage, discipline, sadomasochism) event offers the usual weekend night amenities – drinking, dancing and socializing – all placed smack in the middle of a singularly unique atmosphere that’s heavy on the Goth.
