In case you didn’t know, Smashing Pumpkins posted the last add to their Aug. tour dates on their website (www.smashingpumpkins.com) today. It looks like N.C. is getting a double dose of the Smashing Pumpkins, as scheduled shows include stops to Charlotte and Raleigh. Here’s more info on the N.C. shows:

Aug. 15: Charlotte, N.C. - Ovens Auditorium, 27oo East Independence Blvd. 704-335-3100. www.ovensauditorium.com. www.livenation.com. Ticket prices range from $35-$45.

Aug. 17: Raleigh, N.C. - Progress Energy Center Raleigh Memorial Auditorium, 2 East South St. 919-831-6060. www.progressenergycenter.com. www.ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices range from $36-$46.
