Trouble the Water screening tonight
February 25th, 2009 by Matt Brunson in FilmTrouble the Water, the major Sundance winner that also earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Documentary Feature, will be screened at 7 p.m. tonight at the Afro-American Cultural Center. This nonfiction piece is at once a powerful look at the damage and division caused by Hurricane Katrina, the efforts of ordinary people to put their lives back together, and a condemnation of the incompetence of the Bush Administration in its inept handling of this national tragedy.
