Foxx officially launching his campaign next week

After a tour of the city, he’ll return to his roots to announce his plans to earn your vote and become Charlotte’s next mayor.
Charlotte City Council member Anthony Foxx will return to West Charlotte High School, his alma mater, to officially launch his campaign for mayor.
The official announcement is scheduled for early evening on April 16.
Earlier that day, Foxx will travel to various parts of the city — Ballantyne, Center City, East Charlotte, University City and West Charlotte — to highlight what he hopes will be a diverse and inclusive campaign, said Bruce Clark, campaign manager.
