“Suppressed” EPA writer not even a scientist

July 3rd, 2009 by John Grooms in Boomer with an Attitude

In case you haven’t heard the latest craze among right-wing talkers, it’s about Al Carlin, an Environmental Protection Agency analyst who stated his skepticism about global warming. Conservatives are saying that Carlin’s views on climate change were suppressed by EPA honchos because they didn’t agree with Obama administration opinions.

Now, it’s true that conservatives are well-versed in the issue of presidents stifling scientists who oppose their views — Bush did it for a solid eight years, after all. But here’s the big difference: Carlin is not a climate scientist — he’s an economist who wrote some reports on his own, without prompting by the EPA, after taking on the issue of global warming as a “hobby” on his own time. Nothing was “suppressed,” since Carlin’s reports weren’t EPA reports at all. Meanwhile, of course, Sen. James “The global warming debate is predicated on fear, rather than science” Inhofe of Oklahoma is calling for a criminal investigation into the Carlin matter – in order, we imagine, to scare the daylights out of the scientists at the EPA.

Here is a great lesson for those that are politically innocent. Notice how Grooms attacks the individual who wrote the report but not what is in the actual report. The facts in the report are true and show that global warming is complete BS. Grooms could not argue this fact so he just distracts you with silly diversions.

From my understanding Carlin wrote this report on company time so he was paid by the EPA to produce this report. Now the EPA under Obama does not like the answers so he wants to suppress it. Its true that Bush tried to suppress unsupportive goof balls like Hansen that falsified data and has been disproven multiple times.

It is true the Carlin is not a climate scientist but you dont have to be a climate scientist to compile the data to see if temperatures are going up or down. Carlin also compared the warming climate model predictions vs the actual temps over time. This is simple stuff we all could do.

All I say is look at Carlins graphs an see for yourself.

BTW Al Gore (the politician) is not a climate scientist and he gets to speak before congress on this stuff.

    Something else I forgot.

Doesn’t this remind you of Joe the plumber during the election.

Joe supported his family by doing plumbing work and his middle name was Joseph.

All the liberal media channels reported for weeks that Joe wasn’t even a plumber and his name wasn’t JOE even. Who could trust such a scoundrel!

It turns out that most plumbers do their work under the company’s plumbing license so individual workers do not need a license themselves to do plumping work.

Also I may be going out on a limb here but I have several friends that like to use their middle names instead of their first name.

The reporting on Carlin is sooo similar to Joe the plumber.

Joe got beaten up because he got Obama to admit that he wanted to spread the wealth around (meaning socialism).
