Sen. Burr (R) votes ‘No, no, no’

August 11th, 2009 by Rhiannon Bowman in News

No to funding the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

No to funding the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

No to Sonia Sotomayor’s nomination.

No to extending “Cash for Clunkers.”

Yes to being a cheerleader for “The Party of No.”

The same party that’s so busy saying “no” that they can’t bother to come up with any ideas for solutions to our country’s problems. It’s one thing to disagree; it’s another thing to be a crowd of obstinate children stomping their feet because they’re still sore about their party losing (and losing big) in the last election.

Sen. Kay Hagan, a Democrat, voted “Yes” on all of the same bills. See for yourself:

Bowman continues to make mistakes by the purposeful ommission of information.

Why did the guy vote NO? Did he give a reason? I bet he did.
I am just guess at the possible reasons but…

FDA maybe he wants drugs approved faster and is voting against additional red tape.

USDA Maybe he is against farm subsidies and voted against the bill.

Soto Maybe he knows Soto is a sexist racist which is a good reason to vote against her.

Clunkers There are so many reason to vote against this. It general it will hurt the USA.

Yes to common sense I presume.
