Today, Carlotan Rock Fest 2009, a Carolina Latin rock festival returns to Charlotte for its sixth year. The fest features some of the best Latino musical talents in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. Comedian Mutzie (see a video clip of him in action below), from New Orleans, is a big guy with a big Southern drawl. And he’s here to have fun, y’all! From cops to drive-thrus, Mutzie comes prepared to take them on, drink in hand. He’ll have you laughing in no time. Tickets are $20. Comedian Mark Klein has a long history, of more than 20 years, doing both stand-up and corporate comedic presentations. On the side, he also races horses, which isn’t surprising, considering that he’s from Louisville, Kentucky. Rattling off his routine like an auctioneer, his fast-paced show features the business of horses, politics and family, among other things. Klein tends to slip in some political left-wing bashing, and you should be prepared to laugh at the seriousness of Kentucky horse racing.
