Pop Life moves
Tuesday, August 19th, 2008Pop Life — the eclectic nightlife event produced by Creative Loafing and local entertainment company The Sol Kitchen — is changing venues.
The event — which boasted huge crowds every Wednesday — was being held at Loft 1523, but the decision was made to find a new location. Why? Well, it’s always good to keep things fresh.
Pop Life was previously held at Prevue in NoDa and enjoyed great success at that particular spot. But Charlotte is fickle and before anything gets old, it’s best to keep it moving. Thanks to Loft for all their hard work.
At any rate, stay tuned for an upcoming announcement about the new venue.

Think Batman is tough in the new film The Dark Knight? Christian Bale’s got nothing on the version featured in this animated cartoon.

Join Creative Loafing and The Sol Kitchen as they party with a purpose at the July 16th edition of Pop Life.
Inject your normal nightlife with a dose of “pop” at Pop Life. Held every damn Wednesday at Loft 1523 (1523 Elizabeth Ave.), Pop Life is your weekly opportunity to experience art, drinks, cool vibes, cool people and the best (seriously) and most eclectic blend of music Charlotte. The fun starts at 6 p.m. and, as always, it’s FREE!
