The Dead return to touring life
January 2nd, 2009 by Jeff Hahne in Concert AnnouncementAll four original members of the Grateful Dead — Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart — will tour this spring as The Dead.
They aren’t going to be in Charlotte, but the tour will kick off in Greensboro, N.C., on April 12. Tickets go on sale on Jan. 13.
Warren Haynes and Jeff Chimenti will be joining the quartet on stage.
