Even so, it was Nate's first (ever) concert so it was against my better judgment to let him go down to the front. When Chris Funk brought him up on stage, I was in shock. It's one of the moments that I know I'll never forget. Not only did it make his night, but further inspired his love of music and creativity in a way all of the lessons and parental encouragement never could. It was an amazing show and I am happy that I showed a lapse in judgment and let him go down there.
