Dude, the Where The Wild Things Are trailer is hella sweet

I’m willing to bet the playground isn’t blowing up with quite as much excitement as the blogosphere (quote: “I am a 25-year-old woman in tears over this.”). The much-delayed film adaptation from Spike Jonze and Dave Eggers is finally showing up this fall, to be delivered simultaneously with Eggers’ novel adaptation of the story. The fact that Arcade Fire rerecorded “Wake Up” just for the trailer probably made everyone over at Pitchfork pee themselves. I’m slightly afraid of a soundtrack that Karen O had anything to do with, but I imagine that’s making someone out there cry tears of indie-rock joy, too.
