The word swinger sounds dirty all by itself. For many, this lifestyle conjures stereotypes of swingers engaging in all types of uninhibited behaviors. Many of the assumptions non-swingers have about the lifestyle are true, to an extent, but it’s important to realize that every swinger is different, and we each decide what uninhibited behaviors we are comfortable with.

Swinging is often associated with over indulgence in alcohol or drugs; most people can’t understand how you could get naked and have sex in front of, and with, a room full of strangers, without being wasted on some substance. Personally I don’t partake in drug use or excessive drinking, but I’ve had swinging encounters with a few who do. 

Ecstasy is the drug of choice in some swinging circles.  While this drugs makes you feel loose and euphoric, the drawback is that it gets in the way of really good sex.  I prefer my partners to be in full control when fucking me.

Viagra is also common among the swinging circuit. It’s often used so men can have sex with multiple women and still have an orgasm each time. Unless you have an abnormal arsenal of semen, most men can’t naturally cum three or four times in a few hours.

Along with drugs, the lifestyle is often stereotypically depicted as massive gang-bangs and orgies. Believe it or not, gang-bangs and orgies are common place among swingers. However, just because orgies are common doesn’t mean that all swingers participate in them.

I was involved in one such event at a private club where I experienced fisting for the first time (no, not on me!).  The rooms in private clubs are much like high walled cubicles — open at the top.  Everyone in my cubicle was enjoying themselves when a pair of panties flew over the wall. This peaked our interest so we invited the young couple soliciting our attention to join us in our cubicle.  The two walked in and the man asked, “Anyone want to see me fist her?”

How could you say no to that?

Swinging is not for everyone. You have to have an open mind, and decide for yourself your level of involvement. For me, swinging is a lifestyle that allows me to live out my fantasies, enjoy fetishes, and experience exciting sex with multiple partners.
