Police release sketch of L5P murder suspect

The Atlanta Police Department is seeking help from the public in its investigation into the murder of Terry Williams, a Little Five Points resident who was shot during a mugging in front of his Seminole Avenue apartment.
Williams, who was in his late 30s, was shot once in the head at 12:30 a.m. on May 22 and died on May 29.
On May 30, police released the above sketch and the following description of the suspect:
This individual is a black male in his early 30’s, with shoulder length twists or dread locks in his hair. He is about 6’0 to 6 in height and between 160 to 170 lbs. (slim build). He also has a medium complexion with a slight mustache.

Terry was my father’s best friend growing up and I hope that someone out there knows who did this and helps the police bring him to justice.

He was a great guy and didn’t have a single enemy. I will miss him a lot. Just a few weeks ago we were having beers at the Yacht Club and yukking it up. I can’t believe he’s gone. This is so fubared. I hope the guy who did it gets what’s coming to him. I hope I get the chance to give it to him myself!

How does the killer get a 9200.00 bail???
Cory Williams, the shooter/thief gets a 9200.00 bailout.
When a WHITE FEMALE, who, while addicted to heroin and out of her mind in withdrawals, robs a store (still wrong!!), doesn’t hurt anyone: can’t get bond to go to REHAB (which she needs!), and is faced with 12+years for pretending to have a gun???
HOW DOES THIS INEQUITY HAPPEN???
It’s in ATLANTA, where the pendulum of injustice has swung far to the other side, it is STILL INJUSTICE…

According to the commentors on Andisheh’s column on the MPSA, this is the fault of our “whitist-heterosexist-classist-bigoted-homophobic-you name the excuse” and the criminals are only that way because our society makes them that way.
That’s pure BS, but they use bigger words than me so they must be right,.
