OK, so I lied. I am not a Sports Illustrated kinda guy and can’t recall ever looking through its famous swimsuit issue. But the cover came flying across the PRnewswire just now, and I couldn’t resist:

    I’m no expert, but I suspect there may have been some Photoshop work done to this picture.

    Photoshopping is no less authentic than the plastic people and prefabbed personal parts portrayed per these publications.

    Therein lies the problem. I personally prefer the imperfections of real life. It’s what makes us human. I like it better if there’s at least something “wrong” with it. :-)

    Personally, I think the beaded necklaces are distracting from the natural beauty of the ocean. yeah.
